"Kyle & I first met in school in grade 8, time went on and when we were 20 Kyle slid into the DMs and the rest is history! We were together for 3 years! Engaged in 2019, married in 2021. Kyle proposed to me at Hastings point in NSW, he winged the whole thing and totally caught me off guard in typical Kyle style hahah"

We wanted somewhere that had a laid back atmosphere, great staff & had a great back drop for photos and we fell in love with the Club at Parkwood as soon as we met Mel the Event Co-Ordinator there. Mel goes above and beyond and is the heart of the venue. I kept saying to Elise our Photographer even though the venue is on a golf course I don’t want the typical golf course photos and she nailed it! The photos are more than I could have ever hoped for.

inspiration.

I think our inspiration was just to have a fun wedding day. We weren’t fussed on having the prettiest table settings or most expensive venue we just wanted to have fun with our loved ones and that’s exactly what we did!







favourite moment.

I have so many! Getting ready photos with the girls, the moment with my bridesmaid before walking down the aisle, walking into the reception as a married couple but our favourite moment was the whole bridal party photos. It was the best 2 hours, I would love to do it all over again!

classic story.

I think the weather was one of my favourite stories, I strongly believe Elise our photographer and I manifested the afternoon storm lol, leading up to the wedding we kept hoping for an overcast day as I LOVE the look of overcast photos and we finally got our overcast afternoon storm! Hahah, but this did result in the bridal party running from photos back to the venue! Laughing the whole way through our ceremony, the bridal party practicing the entrance minutes before walking in, cancelling our first dance to dance with everyone instead.

advice.

From the very start of our wedding planning my mindset was always just go with the flow, I think that helped me so much with not getting so tied up the in wedding process and actually enjoying it. Also make sure to book your preferred vendors well in advance, they make the biggest difference on your day!

First dance – It was meant to be Forever After All – Luke Combs but we were having too much fun on the dance floor with all of our guests so decided to not do a first dance which we were totally fine with!

ELISE FROM ADAW PHOTOGRAPHY!! She is just amazing. Everyone needs her as their photographer. We are so obsessed with our wedding photos and the way she captured the pure happiness from us all on the day. Elise made everyone feel comfortable and she felt like another member of the bridal party.
