On the day it was so hot but we all had so much fun (we may have consumed a few margarita’s). Another highlight was getting this arbour into the Venue. Jess’s partner had already left so it was up to her and I to get this arbour in on a nice 40+ day. We took it the easy way through a door and it didn’t fit so we had to carry it a further 100m or so to the other entrance to get it through. However it was still about 1cm too tall this time! So we had to basically roll it back and forth to fit it through the entrance. Only problem was there was about 5 doorways! 40 minutes later and our workout was done for the week.

What led you to decide on this venue/shoot location? Being only half an hour from Echuca we knew that we had to get them on board as an option for our Elopement packages. We wanted a creative space within itself in terms of what they offer and how they present themselves. Love & Elope Co is run by a ceremony stylist and a photographer. So aesthetics are everything to us when choosing locations. We want to get inside the bride and grooms mind which was the driving factor for this shoot. A lot of people visit Cactus Country from all over Australia so we wanted to collaborate with them to inspire people to Elope here too. Since doing this shoot so many people have returned to us wanting to now elope at Cactus Country which was our motive behind the shoot. Also how could you not go with this location. I mean it’s like walking into mexico…and TACO’S !!!
