The inspiration for this shoot came from subtlety. "I really wanted to play with the 'standard' white and green bouquet combination that is so popular and layer the bouquet with hints of cream, champagne, blush and chocolate without it looking too obvious. I was inspired by classic beauty, movement, and warmth, luxurious layers without being rigid or confined.
The highlight of the shoot was working with friends and seeing the vision come to life. When asked if I had faced any challenges and how I overcame them, my answer is there are always challenges behind every seemingly 'effortless' image! Our location fell through with thanks to a grumpy farmer so we spent about 5 hours driving around trying to find the perfect westerly facing paddock with no close trees with wispy grass! And last but not least, my wholesaler could not get some particular flowers that I wanted so I had to improvise and in the end, I think that the florals worked out even better." Sandi of

"We ended up choosing the location because of the way the paddock faced the sunset, as well as finding a nice farmer that was more than happy for us to use his property. I loved how everything came together, the sunshine, the dress, the flowers, silk ribbons with the natural makeup and hair, so everything combined was my favorite part! My favourite moment of the day was catching up together and having a laugh, photo shoots can be stressful but they can be a lot of fun too!" Sandi shares.
