Ashlin & Ivan first met the gym, leading to a surprise proposal parasailing on their anniversary! "Ivan had arranged with the instructor to propose mid-air. Although frightening it was amazing and intimate all at the same time."Ashlin shares.

"The variety Coolibah Downs had to offer us in terms of ceremony location and photo opportunities and the fact that we could have the ceremony, photos and the reception in same location as well
as getting ready on-site was one of the winning factors when choosing our venue for our relaxed, calm, intimate wedding with a rustic twist. This allowed us to be relaxed and soak in the atmosphere and occasion with our bridal party.

The most important factor for us was the professional approach taken by the staff. From the moment we met our co-ordinator, Leticia, we were at ease. She was amazing! She was accommodating, efficient, approachable and no question or request was ever an issue. We were confident that she was going to deliver the day that we envisioned."

"From popping champagne bottles and pouring the champagne tower to having canapes with our bridal party during a thunder storm under the Gazebo at the pond. Our reception - sitting at the table, listening to Danielle Guest singing our favourite love songs, observing our family and friends in the amazing atmosphere and just seeing how everything came together. How all the decor came together, the flowers, candles and table styling - there were so many incredible highlights to our day celebrating the start of our marriage!"

"Shopping for suits was easy, because we bought everything at the one store from the suspenders to the shoes. The dress shopping wasn’t easy at all, because I ended up having three dresses (ceremony, reception and first dance) and they all required alterations. Luckily, we had plenty of time to plan the wedding.
