The inspiration came from our venue, and the shoot was styled around the gorgeous heritage building, Old Tower House - a venue exclusively for small weddings & elopements - I fell in love with the building as soon as I saw it!

We knew we wanted somewhere that would be romantic and had that ‘older world vibe’ but with a classic twist, and Old Tower House was perfect. Old Tower House offers short ceremonies for elopements, and we wanted it almost an LA style shotgun wedding, but with the class and style to suit our gorgeous venue.

The entire shoot came together beautifully, and we met some amazing people. The atmosphere on the day was buzzing – our florist, Tweed Floral made sure the venue looked gorgeous, and the lighting inside Old Tower House was magic! It was raining alot on the shoot day, but we made the best of it and captured some gorgeous rainy day photos with the use of clear umbrellas. That added another feature to the day, proving not even weather can stop a couple getting married.

After a quick dress change and donning some sunnies, our couple headed outside, ecstatic at their newly married status.

In the courtyard, they enjoyed a tipple or two, playing and running in the rain.

To celebrate, they headed to Frisk Small Bar for cocktails and even got invited behind the bar to make their own.
