The dress was the inspiration behind the boho romance shoot. "I had actually come across a Watters Design called Mist. It has a beautiful puff sleeve, corset and soft floating netting. I was looking for something with a whimsical feel, romantic and feminine, and this dress exceeded all expectations."

We looked to bring in natural elements, soft blush tones in a mix of real and dried florals.

highlights.

I just remember our model Cassidy and the arbor in the golden hour, we would be getting the shots and then be just completely gobsmacked at how stunning they turned out. We were all wowed by our own work, the model, the photographer. It was special!

challenges.
In the lead up that is. The weekend before the styled shoot I actually fell ill and had to go in for unexpected emergency surgery due to an ectopic pregnancy. Crazy I know! Thank god to the amazing vendors and some close friends, I was able to push on. I was definitely a lot slower than I normally would be, but we had all worked so bloody hard for this styled shoot, I wasn’t going to miss it. From this, I have made some wonderful industry friends, who I am forever grateful for.

venue.

Bimbadgen is one of my fave venues. There are so many elements I love about it, but the ceremony location overlooking the valley was one of the main reasons I chose this location. It was exactly how I pictured this shoot. The round arbor is a feature all on its own, but with a backdrop like that, they were the perfect match.

favourite detail.
There are so many! The hanging installation, the arbor, but I have to say The Dress! Lily Grace Bridal provided the gown and It was everything I could have imagined. The detail, how it looked on our model Cassidy. Absolute perfection!
