INSPIRATION.
A romantic styled editorial inspired by the wild, rambling, imperfect nature of autumn and the textures and beauty of the Oberon countryside. Warm, golden light enveloped this shoot which took place on a hillside garden in country NSW. The centrepiece of the shoot was an organic floral arch, emerging from within a delicate forest of silver birch.
Jewel toned blooms echoed in the floral motifs of the gown and veil while vintage silhouettes, luminous bronzed makeup and a chic up-do added an old world elegance and romance to each scene. As the light faded we embraced the softness of evening and in the final moments of the shoot captured the essence of imperfectly-perfect autumn beauty.
"The shoot took place on one of the very last days of autumn; a bitterly cold day, our model Isabelle braved near-zero temperatures to create these beautiful images and her dedication was cemented when we woke up the next day to find it had snowed overnight!"
