shoot concept: Adelaide wedding photographer Jaz Anderson captures the inspiration of Australian Bridal label Nasreen Jawad unique gowns in a unique indoor setting.

highlights: Personally, for me it was Nasreen, Lilly and Bianca - I love doing styled shoots because of the opportunity to be creative + get to know other people in the industry. I had worked with Bianca a few times before on styled shoots but this was my first time meeting Lilly and Bianca.

challenges: We had a very small window to prepare and shoot in. We received access into the venue at 8am and had to be packed up and out by 10am. This included the time for make up and dressing. Everyone flawlessly did their job - I was very impressed by how quickly we achieved what we wanted.

location: The Hotel Richmond is a gorgeous and unique Art deco space and the staff are great to organise shoots with. Also, there are large glass windows to one side which provide amazing light.

favourite moment: Lily - She had to catch a train from Barossa to Adelaide CBD for the shoot - which meant she had to start the day much earlier than any of us. Yet, she was so funny and lovely and wore every dress with awe! Her smile and laughter effortlessly bringing so much beauty to the shoot was my favourite.

the designer: Nasreen Jawad, "I am an Adelaide based fashion designer specialising in formal + bridal wear, I always had the dream of running my own fashion label. After completing various
internships in Sydney and Melbourne, I decided to start my label in early 2018, ever since I have embraced the hardship beside any achievements.

I enjoy the process as much as the outcome, since I am one-woman business, I am the designer, patternmaker, cutter, sewer, and manage marketing, source materials etc, the whole process is quite overwhelming and very rewarding at the same time. I have always been inspired by the la belle époque and Edwardian era + I love to create feminine and romantic pieces with a modern twist using quality fabrics - this is one of my priorities.

Riona Dress: Riona means “queen” in the Irish Gaelic language, my irish fit models pointed out thatshe feels like a queen wearing this dress, French lace is used lavishly with featuring long sleeves

Ink heart dress: ink heart is the title of one my favourite books. This dress portrays an edgy and
gothic romantic sense.

Spring rosette dress: featuring tiered skirt, inspired by my grandfather’s rose garden, I love tea roses and their warm and soft colours and their wonderful scent.

Stareh dress: Stareh means star in Farsi, this beautiful dress is embellished stars all-over high-quality tulle and it give aethereal sense in the daylight

Jane Eyre dress: this is dress is embellished with ivory pearls, I was designing it as I was watching
Jane Eyre, it represents her soft and modest beauty

Gardenia in bloom: this dress contains on 2 pieces, French cord lace and detachable soft tulle skirt,
inspired by the art nouveau paintings.

Organising this shoot was an absolute blast, I am so incredibly grateful, for meeting this group of amazing and talented people, Lily, Bianca, Mitha, Jacob, Alexis, Dallian, Hotel Richmond and Pride models and especial thanks to Jaz for her wonderful photography.
