Lover of Western + the Boho style, talented Cumnock NSW based wedding photography Kacie Herd had an amazing pink suit sitting in her wardrobe since “old town road" became a hit. "The suit was my muse for this editorial and I wanted to pull off a New Age Western styled wedding shoot." Kacie shares.
highlights: One of the highlights for me was getting a bunch of creative vendors together from the Central West. Another highlight was definitely the Holden Kingswood ute.
challenges: We have been in a drought for a few years + it decided to rain 18mm in the afternoon! Turns out, if you want it to rain - book a photoshoot with a Rue De Seine gown. Lucky enough the sky cleared + we got the most spectacular sunset that evening...
what led you to decide on this shoot location? The location I used for this photoshoot has been a favourite photography spot for me. It's literally a pile of gravel on the side of a country road but the view is breathtaking!
favourite detail: Now every photographer knows a man does not like having his photo taken. So once we finished the photos our groom asked if he could do a few donuts in his Kingswood!! It made for great photos.
