Paradise Botanical Gardens boasts many attributes, from quilted lily ponds, to Asian flavoured walkways and medieval roman columns. "To showcase what the property has to offer, not only in its landscapes, the florist, A Wild Romance, used only flowers freshly handpicked that day from the property. Every flower arrangement you see in the photos are collected from Paradise Botanical Gardens. In addition, Everlong Events collected plants from the venues nursery to add to some of the scenes also." the team shares.

what was the inspiration behind this shoot concept? Paradise Botanical Gardens, although started up in the 70’s, is a breathtaking hidden gem in the Central Coast’s hinterland. With 38 acres of gardens, hundreds of flower types and amazing architecture and landscapes, inspiration for the shoot was drawn from the unique variations this property has to offer. Everlong Events designed complimenting scenes for each of the properties locations to allow vendors to get creative in showcasing their amazing talents.

what led you to decide on this shoot location? Shoot Coordinator, Everlong Events had been introduced to the venue earlier in the year to be a part of the team to work on launching the property as a wedding venue. The gardens are phenomenal, with scenery changes around every corner. This shoot was partly an offer to Paradise to help promote their venue, but also to give some local talent the opportunity to not only see this historical garden, but also to offer collaborate in creating a unique magic.

favourite detail: It was all amazing, however the highlights were working with such amazing local talent and being able to create an intimate medieval themed setting within the curved roman columns of the property.

favourite momen: The team who worked on this shoot were carefully handpicked by Everlong Events. Every vendor was excited to be a part of the shoot, all pitched in to help each other out and all made the day memorable. Watching each scene come together so beautifully was an overall favourite.
