Making the most of golden hour, talented Perth based wedding vendors create a gorgeous ceremony setting and wedding inspiration from a concept that came to photographer Taylor Mitchell Photography whilst on her travels. "Finding myself going to see the autum leaves in Japan made me think of the beautiful orange hues we don’t see much of in Perth weddings! As well as inspiration that came from seeing the location along the Perth river and the stunning land we live on." Taylor reflects.

highlights: The golden hour! Such a beautiful time of the day to shoot, we adored the rays bursting through the trees along the river giving this amazing light.

challenges: Oh my gosh the wind! The amount of times we had to fix the tablescape up as well as hairspraying Briana’s hair back was insane. The one strand of hair we kept saying - Stay back please!

what led you to decide on this shoot location? This location in Perth is a little hidden treasure! Tucked away behind the gorgeous old Guildford along the swan river bed. I stumbled across this location only a few weeks before the shoot and thought that it was a must location for this styled shoot.

favourite detail: The dress. It was stunning and sparkled so perfectly - just how we imagined. We adored this Wedding Societe dress!

favourite moment: Definitely getting Jedd to pick little Briana up! She kept slipping through the dress! Believe it or not it is harder than it looks.
