Lucy + Timmy met at a mutual friends' party at high school when they were just 16. Lucy had friend zoned Tim in the beginning but then he dressed up in her school uniform and came up to her high school, checked every room to find Lucy to confess his love. He was chased out by out school teachers. "How can you say no to someone who goes to all that effort!?" Lucy tells. Becoming a couple on 4th October 2007, Lucy + Timmy have been together ever since.
"What we have most in common is our love for adventure, the beach, and HOLIDAYS! We have travelled to every state of Australia together and visited 14 countries, we are always planning our next trip holiday or get away. Out of all our travels, our favourite memories are the trips we have taken in the shagwa our beloved van. We lived in Darwin for 4 years and while were there, we fell in love with camping and weekend trips to beautiful water falls. Bali also became like our second home.
Brought our first home in Melbourne in 2016." the gorgeous newly weds share.

Future plan: We want to keep travelling to see the world. We plan on doing a complete trip around Australia one day with our family and taking a full year off work to do it. We want to have lots of children and animals and live somewhere warm.
How long were you together before your engagement? 10 years
Tell us about the proposal: We were ice-skating in New York City on one of our many holidays, Tim slid up to me on his knee and proposed. Then we took a helicopter flight over New York City together - it was the perfect day and night.

It’s a family favourite place - lots of memories at the Portsea hotel together. We both have a beach house there and have been going to the Mornington Peninsula together forever. I actually remember us watching a wedding together there and us saying how cool it would be to get married there one day.
We both felt pretty lucky to get married somewhere that means so much to us. We love the beach + both always feel so happy and free at there.
Favourite moment.

The ceremony, seeing Tim cry when I walked down the aisle - I didn’t expect that! But mainly the moment we were finally married and walked back down the aisle together, it felt really special having all our family and friends smiling and cheering us.
Favourite detail: My dress - I loved my dress! It was the first one I tried on.
How long did it take for you to find and how was your dress/suit shopping experience overall? Easy - I bought the first one I tried on. The boys were a little more tricky getting them all in the same place at the same time to try clothes on wasn’t exactly easy but we got there in the end.
What does marriage mean to you? Simple, it means being with your best friend forever
Any classic stories you want to share from the day? So many! It was really important to Tim and I that we had party - we love to get together with all our friend and just have a good time and that'sexactly what we did! Favourite memory... probably Tim and I hanging from the roof at the end of the night. We both had such a good time and at the end of the night all our friends lifted us up on chairs in the air - it was so much fun! Definitely a moment we won’t ever forget!

Just do what you want - don’t listen to everyone else. It’s so easy to get caught up in it all and it can become very stressful - just take a step back and enjoy it! Once it’s over, you will just want to relive the moment over and over again

They were all stand out, everyone made a big effort to bring it all together, to be honest nothing really went to plan on the day except for the weather we got very lucky there, but everything still felt perfect and when I look back on the day I only think about how fun and perfect it was. Shannon, our wedding coordinator + our photographer Jess both did such a fantastic job making things work and bringing the whole night together even when things didn’t go to plan. We were also so delighted with our wedding celebrant Emma, she really made the ceremony so light and fun she picked up on mine and Tim's personalities really well - lots of our friend and family commented on our great she was!
