We have so many social media platforms with the internet at our finger tips, we constantly need to evolve and create new ideas to ensure we intrigue our audience.

"We adore and love white wedding dresses but at times, Brides want to show off their style and flair. It started with a google search of black Wedding dresses and the ideas and inspo started flowing. I immediately contacted Bizzaro Bridal to see if a black Wedding gown could be an option for our next shoot.

If excitement could jump through a phone and be in front of me, it did! Straight away, there was talk of laces, beading work, the shape of the dress and how it could transform to suit many Brides. The innovative mindset to create such a magical gown is beyond words. With no twist of arms our incredible team of vendors loved the ideas and were straight away creating and sharing ideas on how they wanted the shoot to look and with a team of artistic and gifted vendors “Noire Magnifique ” was born." What was the inspiration behind this shoot? "We wanted to show our Brides, that it is exciting and fun to step out from the traditional white Wedding and show off bold, luxurious and sense of moody romance. We are finding more couples want to be daring and really show off their style and charisma. Thus we wanted to create a statement styled shoot that shows off black and its beauty." Natalie NPM Events

"Many Brides venture outside the box these days and as a result we see more diversity and personality in their choice of style and colour when it comes to their Wedding gowns. We wanted to create a black gown that was sensual and beautiful. The sheer base and nude undertones of the gown reduce the opaqueness and allow the gown to appear light yet moody. The removable overskirt made from fine tulle adds a soft and feminine flow to the gown and overall look. We loved shooting this black gown with heavy beaded detail and appliquéd accents within a natural outdoor setting creating a light and airy mood and also showing how styling, venue choice and the finer details can compliment a bridal gown of any hue." What are some of the highlights you had during the shoot process: "The first to spring to mind was the feeling of awe and inspiration I had during the shoot. It’s a wonderful thing to watch talented and creative people working together to bring out the best in each other. I loved watching these leaders in their fields bounce ideas of each other, push each other, and work tirelessly to create something very special. Did you face any challenges on the day? "I think being a photographer, light is always going to be a challenge! Unfortunately ‘Golden Hour’ (when the light is at its softest and most flattering) is just that, an hour! So working throughout the day in really bright, and often harsh light is something I had to overcome. We did this by simply selecting our locations carefully, trying to work with shadows and in even light when we could, and of course making the most of the incredible spaces selected by the always amazing Natalie, from NPM Events." What led you to decide on this venue/shoot location? Natalie: "There are so many reasons why I wanted to create our shoot at Ottimo House. Its abundance of beautiful acreage with beautiful lawns, peaceful views and a choice of rustic charm in the country style barn or the newest addition, a modern luxurious marquee with beaming tall glass wall overlooking the dam. Such a peaceful atmosphere to share with loved ones. This one location has it all and oozes a relaxed location to enjoy.

What was your favourite detail/moments from the shoot day? Kiri: "Of course the gowns created by Dimmy from Bizzaro Bridal Couture never fail to impress, and the dress used in this shoot was an absolute dream to photograph.

"My favourite part about the day is working alongside an incredible team that share your vision to create magic and bring to life weeks of planning sure is a favourite moment!
So many factors come into play when designing a look. Inspiration comes from all areas, in this particular shoot the black beaded lace set the tone for the makeup look. Striking dark smouldering shadows teamed with a soft peach lip and strong highlight on the cheek bone was needed to bring sexy back!" Miriana MBK Makeup
