What was the inspiration behind this shoot? Well I am a photographer but I also live on a stunning apple orchard that was just screaming out to host weddings. My good friend and stylist Nicole from Penny Lane Studios suggested we do a styled shoot to get the venue out there and then before we knew it we were shooting an amazing styled shoot to showcase not just the venue but a bunch of really talented vendors from the mountains.
What are some of the highlights you had during the shoot process: Working with other creatives to bring it all to life - I love brainstorming and throwing myself into a great project.
When did you know that your passion for Weddings would become your career? You know what I keep pinching myself. It wasn’t until living on the Orchard that I became inspired to do it. I think I just saw such potential in this place as a venue and I really am excited to share that with others. Since becoming a venue owner and also photographer for some of these Weddings, I realised just how amazing the industry is. I mean what other industry do you get to work with only super happy and excited couples? As a commercial/advertising photographer I can assure you, you don’t get that with all your clients haha
What was your favourite moment from the day? The whole day. Seeing the vision come to life - Honestly there was never a dull moment!
