My dream Wedding was always to have a marquee Wedding. So open and spacious set amongst a relaxed location with beautiful flowers and shining chandeliers - a lovely space for family and friends to enjoy.

Tommy wanted to have slow cooked meats from a massive smoker/ food truck and have a unique food selection instead of the normal beef and chicken. Also to take a small side step away from the traditional Italian style of Wedding and show our beautiful family our style and us in general.

Our guests, still today, rave about the décor, the styling and how exceptional the food was!

Tommy is also a massive fan of “Back to the Future” movie and so the surprises on the day began! Firstly we had a DeLorean pick Tommy up and escort him to the venue. He was in complete shock but little did he know that wasn’t the only surprise.

We were lucky enough to have the lovely Claudia Wells who played Jennifer Parker give us a video to congratulate us both on our day and also post our Wedding on her Facebook page.

Tommy has a rare exclusive pair of shoes which are collectables and were shown in our shoot. You will see the glowing Nikes which are a replica from the movie.

To us, our dreams came true together.

For any couple that are wanting a marquee Wedding, my advice is to include additional little extras like, portable toilets, catering, waiters and a clean up crew to make the Wedding run smoothly. As much as a lot of Brides would like to DIY, marquee Weddings are a lot of setup and pack down work and we would highly recommend getting in professionals to assist with you on the big day.

My other advice for our Brides is, things will happen on the day. Your ideas that you have, no one else will know. So if a little something does not happen, don’t stress. No one is aware so just enjoy your day! You have spent soooo much time planning so the Wedding day is all about the couple. Being a Wedding stylist/ designer myself, when I planned and triple checked our Wedding details, I knew that there could be little things could creep up that would be out of our control. 

So don’t worry… and just remember, its not about whether that candle in the corner is still lit, its about you and your partner celebrating those beautiful words: “ I-Do” Natalie - NPM Events
