the venue.

Together for two and half years after Jessamy and Harry met on Tinder, Harry proposed at home when he asks Jessamy to help him do something on his car. "So I went out, the car was parked under one of our trees, he told me to unscrew this cap from the motor. I unscrewed it and underneath the lid he had written ‘turn around’ on it, so I turned around and there he was, on one knee behind me with a beautiful diamond ring." Jessamy shares.

the venue.
We wanted to make a beautiful, loving memory at our new home. We have an acre of land, so we thought, why pay for a wedding venue when we can have it in our own back yard?
wedding theme inspiration.
We were going for a boho/country theme. I love boho, and we both love country. We wanted a relaxed look and feel. We had blankets and pillows on the ground, wooden bar tables and wine barrels. Harry made a bar out of old wood pallets and tin. We created a roof with thousands of fairy lights, and festoon lighting around the dancefloor! We got some of our inspiration from Pinterest and ideas from our friends and family.

favourite moments.
We loved every bit of it! But I have to say, when I was walking up the aisle towards Harry, I wish I could re-live that
moment over and over again. The whole ceremony was so special. Harry said that his most favourite part was also the ceremony.
We both also loved when we went and got our pictures taken just down the road from our house with the most amazing photographer Kitty - that was such a fun time with
our closest friends. It was so relaxed! It’s where we go bike riding and walk our dogs so the place had significance for us.
favourite details.
The food was so yummy, our flowers were perfection, and all the lights we hung up let off a beautiful ambience.

overall dress/suit shopping experience.
Harry and one of his groomsmen went into an R.M Williams store and picked out a relaxed country outfit. They left feeling good with what they chose.
I went to two different bridal shops with my mum and mother in law - it was such a fun day. I tried on about 13 dresses, but at the end it was an easy choice, I knew which
one was for me – I chose a beautiful Grace Loves Lace boho gown.
what does marriage mean to you?
Sticking by and being there for one another when times are tough. It means knowing that someone is there to support you when you are down and exhausted. It means
being less selfish, and to grow with each other.

classic moments.
After my dad and I walked up the aisle he went to sit back down and he tripped over my dress, luckily he didn’t fall! Oh and the dance moves! Oh there were some funny dance moves that took place later that night. I just wish our videographer was still there to capture them!

advice.
Invite only who YOU want to invite! Take in every moment, it all goes by so quickly! Do your research and do your best to find the right photographer - you want someone who will make you feel relaxed, it makes such a big difference. We would highly recommend getting a videographer to film your ceremony and reception - there are moments that you miss throughout the day so we are so glad
we got a video done - we got to relive the day a little bit again. Also, don’t under-cater when it comes to the food, if anything, over cater! I have heard of so many people going to weddings and leaving starving hungry. Our guests
kept telling us how good our food was and that there was so much of it. They certainly did not leave hungry!

weddings songs.
Aisle: I’m with you - Vance Joy (acoustic version)
Recessional: Follow Me - Uncle Kracker
First dance: Millionaire - Chris Stapleton
standout vendors.
Our photographer, Kitty. From the very beginning she was a delight, she got to know us through questionnaires, video call, and even came and met us at our house the day
before the wedding to suss out the location. She made every one of us feel so comfortable!
Our caterers, K’s Home Kitchen. They were so great with the food and very accommodating. They only had our tiny oven to work with, but they made it work.
Also special mention to our friend Karli (not a vendor, but she should be!) She went above and beyond – She did all our flowers, our grazing table and came out a couple of
days before the wedding to help us set up!
