Central Coast based wedding creatives chose the Moroccan wedding theme for its mystery, elegance and colour! Ultimately, having something a little different, the idea of something in extravagant colour and texutre but with a relaxed feel felt very relevant to the venue. "Our bridal hair and makeup artist is also a henna artist to the theme appealed to so many of our vendors." The team shares.

highlights: As the photographer, watching the styling coming together was very exciting for me! I loved seeing everything unloaded and put together so beautifully. The Posy Garden seemingly whipping up beautiful installations so efficiently was one of the most magical parts of the day - the whole shoot came together so well. The signage by Everlong Events hand wrote everything right in front of us! Our models were also brilliant together, they laughed and joked and held each other up through the entire shoot. It always astounds me how vendors come together for these creatives shoots and add their own special touch and creative ideas - such a humbling experience to witness.

Also, the musician learning that he actually could work out how to play the banjo that was just going to be a prop was fantastic! We all enjoyed a little break when the team enjoyed the divine grazing platter by Going to Gracelands.

challenges: we had all the weather! from blazing hot to dark, ominous skies back to hot and a lovely sunset. As the photographer of a shoot, my aim was to find a balance between a focus on details and including every vendors where a wedding shoot has more of a focus on capturing emotions, atmosphere and the couples connection.

the venue: The Ridge Estate is a relatively new venue on the Central Coast, NSW that I've been really keen to explore. The venue owners were more than accommodating to host a styled shoot and co-owner, Nicole played an instrumental part in helping with details and getting things set up - she was amazing!

favourite detail: I loved the Bride's henna art and accessories! And the blanket provided for the horse "William" photos by Everlong Events was a gorgeous detail too. I loved all of the laughter and banter between the models, the florals were exceptional and eye-catching with the triangular arbour creating such a special moments - this was custom made by Everlong Events for the day. The tent by Go Glamping really helped us achieve the glamourous boho feel too.
