BOHEMIAN BLOOMS

images by capturing happy ever efters

When Adelaide based wedding floral designer Katie from The Queen’s Quarters contacted Richelle of Capturing Happy Ever Afters to shoot some beautiful flower arrangements she had created, an elopement wedding vibe developed. Tia from Blushing Rose Beauty. After going op shopping, Tia found a well fitting gown for $20 - perfect for this last minute burst of inspirational + creative shoot.

"I wanted to create an elopement style vibe, with a warm and free spirited feel. I think the warm tones with the pop of light pink in the flower arrangements does this nicely. My main focus, as always though was capturing the connection of the couple." Richelle tells.

highlights: The fact that it all came together on such short notice and the end product turned out so completely wonderfully. Also, overall everyone was so excited and enthusiastic, even Leon who needed the most convincing to participate.

challenges: Ensuring it would all come to together was a challenge in itself but on the day we were running out of light. I overcame this issue by moving forward quicker.

what led you to decide on this location?  I wanted to create a true elopement style. I had this location in the back of my mind for some time and with the short notice of the shoot, it was the perfect backdrop to create something special.

favourite detail:  The arbour and the flower arrangements, I believe they truly accentuated the elopement style I wanted to create.

favourite moment: Everyone just having a good time and especially the kids running around and playing. It was just so beautiful.
