"Our Italian romantic love story wedding shoot based in New Farm was inspired by the stunning handmade bridal gown from Fiorenza. We aimed to create an Italian love story with a modern touch using the historic buildings and nature we had at location. The aim of this shoot was to create an Italian modern love story with a pop of colour in the stunning bouquet our bride was holding. The faux floral bouquet incorporated foliage with a touch of bright pink flowers to tie the whole look together.

The shoot was designed to scream true Italian love story, we chose to incorporate the unique setting around us of the stunning Powerhouse Brisbane's brick walls and the real nature around us at the beautiful New Farm park. The different flower beds helped incorporate more texture for the back drops. We also used the perfectly structured arbour to add an even more beautiful back drop to some shots. The florals for the arbour were simple but sleek and it also added a little texture to add for our Italian love story.

Every detail from the grooms traditional black and white suit, to the handmade gown on the bride and the beautiful up styled hair really helped bring this shoot to life. A lot of the shots were taken in the best afternoon lighting of the day to really enhance the bright colours and nature around the bride and groom.

Love stories should be unstructured, fun and intimate in every way. It was our aim to create these emotions through this shoot. The best part of this shoot was working together with such an inspiring and talented team of creatives. On the day, all vendors had a clear vision of the shoot and the vibe that we were aiming for. This resulted in everyone’s work tying in beautifully together and ensured we all complimented one another.
