"We were planning a Bridal shoot and we really wanted to do a beach shoot for the last shoot of the year as the Gold Coast Beaches are second to none around the world, we are so very privileged to have the most beautiful beaches at our backdoor. A Bride and Groom walking hand in hand on the beach is so very romantic. Also in the dunes there is some incredible foliage in the sand and these create the most fabulous backdrop for a couple to have photos." Michelle -

What are some of the highlights you had during the shoot process: Oh our beautiful Bride Nicole looking so glamorous in the variety of elegant gowns and with the complimenting sparkling jewellery to each gown; and of course the beautiful bouquets that compliment the gowns so perfectly.
Did you face any challenges on the day? OMG YES, we had months of planning go into this gorgeous shoot and the week of the shoot was daily torrential rain, we couldn’t believe it. We were determined to have a beach shoot though and thought we will go to the beach and just see how we go shooting in between the rain. The photographer brought white umbrella’s for the Bride and Groom just in case. The wind was quite strong on the day so that also created some issues, but these are the things that make it a memorable fun shoot. The whole team were just fabulous and came together and helped each other to create beautiful photos.
We were so lucky as the glorious Gold Coast sun was kind to us and shone brightly for us all day, we had threatening clouds in the distance and were so happy to have the bride and groom on the beautiful sandy beach with the sun shining brightly as we had planned.
what led you to decide on this shoot location? This was the northern end of the Gold Coast and it has the prettiest beach and foliage, it gave the photographer so much inspiration as there are so many pretty spots to photograph in this section and the sand is white and beautiful, the sky was blue and the water was inviting. How perfect is this for any Bride and Groom to have their photos taken at this beautiful location.
what was your favourite detail about the shoot day? The beautiful flowers made to suit the styling of the shoot and the colour of the fabrics in the gowns and the lapel flowers made to the Grooms' suit colours. Makeup and Hair being adjusted to create a new look for the Bride for each gown. Changing the jewellery to the look of the gowns and hair to show the different looks a Bride can create on her Wedding day. These intricate details are what make the difference to each gown and creating unique Brides.
favourite moment/s from the day: We had a lot of giggles when we were trying to get a particular photo, the photographer was knee deep in running water and we had a short time to quickly lay out the skirt, have the Bride and Groom stand in place and then 10 seconds to get the shot before the waves rushed in and the Groom had to quickly gather up the huge skirt and they ran up-shore giggling away from the water. We tried that shot several times to no avail, although it was a bit of fun and we are always up for a challenge! We were all laughing in this section at the craziness of the waves being in control and we having none, we also just loved how cute it was that Max was looking after Nicole.
